Customer Analytics Engineer

JOB TYPE:

W2 Full Time

12 months ongoing contract

LOCATION:

Mossville, IL

JOB DETAILS FOR DEV/RESEARCH ENGINEER 5:

• Seeking Dev/Research for a manufacturing client based out of Mossville, IL.
• Onsite M-F 5 days/week - First shift (approx. 7:00a-3:00p). Times may flex outside normal hours occasionally as testing schedules
• Pay Range: $63.85-$68.54hr

JOB SUMMARY FOR DEV/RESEARCH ENGINEER 5:

• Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices.

• Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects.

• Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendation to maintenance crew.

• Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using tools, equipment or software.

• Oversee installation, operation, maintenance and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.

• Implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR DEV/RESEARCH ENGINEER 5:

• Prepare/Startup test equipment for the day
• Organize samples for testing and execute necessary pre-test and post-test measurements
• Document results and findings for review with design and test team
• Split time between lab (executing and setting up tests) and office (reviewing data and summarizing results) 50/50
• Review results from tests
• Participate in standup meetings, adjust daily tasks as needed
• Communicate any needs or roadblocks

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR DEV/RESEARCH ENGINEER 1:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 10+ years in leading data analytics team, data mining, development of customized reporting, project work (Analytical or Digital).

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR DEV/RESEARCH ENGINEER 1:

• PowerBI Experience
• fleet analyzation
• customer solution
• building and leading customers- be the face of the role
• Expert ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations.
• Expert ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.
• Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD).
• Moderate Excel Experience
• Analytical Skills
