Job Title: Emergency Department Nurse (ED Nurse) - Contract Position

Shift: Days, 12 hours (10:45 AM - 11:15 PM)

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Nurse (ED Nurse) for a contract position with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of recent Emergency Department experience and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). This role requires individuals who thrive in high volume settings and have experience in travel nursing, having completed at least one contract assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assess patient needs and provide appropriate interventions in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date certifications and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Three (3) years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• Previous travel nursing experience (at least one contract assignment completed).
• High volume and fast-paced environment experience preferred.
• Current and valid New Jersey nursing license or compact license required.
• Certifications in AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS are required (no pending certifications or those expiring within 30 days of submission will be accepted).

Additional Information:

• Weekend shifts: Every other weekend or three per month depending on needs.
• Holidays: No holiday shifts are required.
• Requests for time off (RTO) limited to no more than three days.
• Orientation is mandatory; failure to complete full orientation will result in immediate termination.
• Candidates will receive further instructions about orientation via email prior to the start date.
