Job Description

A rapidly growing company in the Charlottesville area is seeking an FP&A Manager to join its finance and accounting team. This role offers extensive opportunities for growth within a fast-paced, evolving environment. The FP&A Manager will oversee financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and KPIs, playing a key role in supporting the company’s decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage financial reporting and budgeting operations, including internal and external financial statements
• Support accounting operations and general ledger maintenance, including payroll and fixed assets
• Implement accounting systems and controls to enhance accuracy and prevent fraud
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasting and reporting processes
• Oversee cash flow management, treasury, and banking activities
• Develop business metrics, analyze budget variances, and support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• 5+ years of experience, ideally in construction services
• Strong management and supervisory skills; CPA preferred

• the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
