Industrial Engineering Intern
Location: Branchburg, NJ
Pay Rate: $22 - $24 per hour

Seeking a motivated Industrial Engineering Intern to join the team at a leading flavor and fragrance manufacturing facility. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and evolving production environment.

The plant is currently undergoing significant upgrades to processes and manufacturing equipment, and this intern will work closely with our Process Engineer to support improvement initiatives, optimize operations, and contribute to efficiency projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in evaluating and improving plant processes, workflows, and equipment efficiency.
• Collect and analyze production data to support process optimization and decision-making.
• Collaborate with the Process Engineer on equipment upgrades and process change projects.
• Participate in time studies, workflow analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support documentation of new procedures, process flows, and best practices.
• Gain exposure to lean manufacturing and industrial engineering principles in a real-world setting.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Interest in manufacturing processes, process improvement, and equipment optimization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); exposure to data analysis tools is a plus.
