Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic (DIRECT HIRE)

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Maintenance Mechanics to join our team, and will be a directly hired maintenance mechanic. This role involves maintaining and performing preventative maintenance on injection molding machines and other equipment.

Schedule : Night shift schedule 6pm to 6am (2-2-3 rotation shift)

Pay : $30-39.00 per hour based off experience and skills

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain all company policies including ISO Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, and Continuous Improvement.
• Install and perform preventative maintenance on injection molding machines and equipment such as closing machines and feeder bowls.
• Recondition used equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, automation, vision, and electrical systems on injection molding machines to ensure continuous production.
• Decommission any machine or equipment that is unsafe or likely to deteriorate with continued use.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and interpreting blueprints.
• Mechanical and electrical skills.
• Experience with hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience with Injection Mold Machinery is a plus.
• Familiarity with automation and vision systems.

Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing environment with occasional exposure to an office setting. Employees are required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands frequently, with occasional stooping, bending, or reaching. Specific vision abilities and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs are necessary. Standing or walking for extended periods and climbing short ladders may also be required. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position, directly hired to our client which is based out of Libertyville, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
