Legal Project Manager job at Innovative Driven Washington DC, US

Base pay range $160,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr Innovative Driven is currently seeking an experienced Legal Project Manager in to join the Finance Department at one of our award-winning law firm clients, based in Washington DC. This is a tremendous opportunity to join a global law firm, working with the finance and pricing teams, clients, and attorneys to efficiently assist in the management of legal matters. This is a full-time and hybrid position at a law firm in Washington DC. The core hours for the position will be 9:30-5:30 ET, Monday-Friday, three days onsite and two days remote.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Implement and facilitate best practices, templates, tools and checklists to improve client service Review and test legal technology options, while ensuring data governance and security Support matter teams in responding to a clients request for proposal (RFP) including scoping and estimating a matter, drafting example documents and creating a transparent communications and project plan catered to a clients needs. Manage matters to project plans, according to best practice and procedures Provide financial projections and recommend action for changes Gather and organize feedback from teams and clients Consult with matter and administrative teams regarding best practice guidance, innovative improvements and efficiency recommendations. Utilize GenAI to gain efficiencies in daily tasks Maintain repository for client Outside Counsel Guidelines (OCGs), create OCG summaries and update database / billing system with OCG rules. Participate in the creation and presentation of appropriate training materials for client teams

REQUIREMENTS:

At least three years of previous experience with law firm is required, including a demonstrable understanding of financial metrics and alternative fee arrangements.
