About the Role
The Company is in search of a Managing Director of Business Development to spearhead its expansion within the industrial manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will be a senior-level professional with a robust network and a proven track record in engaging executive leaders to secure high-value consulting engagements. This role is pivotal in driving new business growth across target sectors, including automotive, aerospace and defense, heavy equipment, and consumer product manufacturing. Key responsibilities include identifying and nurturing relationships with C-level decision-makers, positioning the firm's consulting services, and leading the pursuit of opportunities from inception to contract closure. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in selling consulting or transformation services in industrial environments, with a strong understanding of supply chain, operations, procurement, or lean manufacturing. Applicants for the Managing Director of Business Development position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA or advanced degree being preferred. A background in closing multi-million-dollar deals within the manufacturing or engineering sectors is essential, as is the ability to influence and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
