Sports Medicine and Primary Care practice in the Henderson, NV area specializing in non-operative orthopedics and concussion management is looking to fill a medical scribe position. Successful candidates exemplify welcoming, respectful, and detail oriented behavior that support our practice. Applicants should be team players, capable of multitasking, attentive, and detail oriented.
Scribe Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Ability to accurately and quickly type physical exam, assessment, and medical terminology in an EHR
• Copy and paste radiology reports into an EHR
• Must be reliable and detail oriented
• Maintain HIPAA compliant files and privacy
Qualifications for position:
• Interest in healthcare and sports medicine
• Customer service experience
• Fluent in medical terminology, previous course in anatomy preferred
• Must be a team player
• Prior experience as a medical scribe in a doctor’s office using an EHR (at least 1 year required)
Schedule:
Must be able to work Monday through Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00pm and Friday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
PTO & Retirement available after 4 month probationary period is over.
