Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with product and design teams
- Enhance our Express.js backend, refining architecture and best practices
- Increase automated test coverage throughout the codebase
- Contribute to the React frontend to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality
- Lead by example: produce clean, maintainable code and conduct insightful code reviews
- Actively engage with the team by sharing knowledge and participating in collaborative problem-solving
- Play a role in sprint planning, architectural decisions, and roadmap execution
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Node.js / Express
- Solid experience with React on the frontend
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha)
- Proven track record of technical leadership and mentoring developers
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, remote startup environment
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Bonus : Residing in the Greater Seattle area with the ability to occasionally work from our Bellevue office (remote candidates are also welcome)
