Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? The Senior Proposal Writer/Senior RFP Writer is responsible for supporting business development and business retention activities (revenue generation) by responding to questionnaires received by the sales or consultant relations teams and upholding a high standard of communication and compliance. What will you do? Serve as a project manager for assigned questionnaires and proposals, completing to a high-quality standard within guidelines and by deadline. (60%) Project management: Work to deadline to gather information from multiple sources across the firm and collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and sales representatives. Editing and writing: Adjust standard proposal verbiage to address a specific question or appeal to a particular audience; draft new content as needed; and edit verbiage provided by SMEs or sales representatives for clarity, narrative consistency, and writing mechanics (including brand standards, applicable regulations/laws, and grammar conventions). Content expert: become responsible within the RFP team for an area of content, owning the team's working relationships with related SMEs and capability specialists. Participate in quality control process for the team as a senior proposal content editor and proofreader. (10%) Assist team in maintaining content library within the RocketDocs application. (10%) Proactively support teammates and partners as a subject matter expert when capacity is constrained. (10%). Support process improvement projects and other responsibilities as assigned. (10%) What do you need to succeed? Must-have 10+ years of asset management experience Minimum of 5 years of proposal management experience within asset management Exceptional English language skills in editing, writing, and both written and verbal communications Strong project management and stakeholder management Preferred CFA Fixed Income and Alternatives proposal management experience What's in it for you? Access to a variety of job opportunities across business The expected salary range for this particular position is $50,000-$85,000 for Minneapolis, MN; for Stamford, CT, $65,000-$105,000; for Chicago, IL, $55,000-$94,000 depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
